Leila Gilbert is an experienced finance professional and serves as Director of Finance at Lighthouse Public Affairs. She oversees financial reporting, cash planning, budgeting, expense management, receivables, and tax filings.

Leila brings 15+ years of finance leadership across industries including private equity, fintech, cannabis, biotech, gaming, and media. Before joining Lighthouse, she was CFO at Sparc. Throughout her career, she has led finance teams at both startups and public companies. Leila has built finance functions from the ground up, implemented ERP systems, and overseen IPO and SPAC transactions in the U.S. and Canada.

Leila volunteers as an advisor at WareFlow, a fintech startup in Nairobi, Kenya, and the Here for Hope Foundation, an environmental conservation nonprofit that empowers youth in Rwanda. She collaborates with both teams on budgeting, fundraising, accounting, and software development. Originally from Los Angeles, she now lives in San Francisco and holds an MBA in Finance from Loyola Marymount University.
