As a D.C. reporting fellow for The Texas Tribune, Julia reported on federal policy and political developments affecting Texans, covering congressional hearings, immigration policy, and energy debates. She also contributed regularly to the Tribune’s political newsletter, providing timely analysis to readers across the state. Her work included deep coverage of House and Senate committee activity and policy impacts at the local level. Julia also served as a political communications consultant, working on numerous local, state, and national campaigns across the country for more than three years.
