Cassie Kendall is a lifelong Sacramento resident and an experienced public relations professional, specializing in brand strategy, earned media procurement, and event management. As a Director at Lighthouse Public Affairs, Cassie has worked with a diverse range of nonprofit and for-profit clients across sectors including healthcare, energy, reproductive freedom, and tourism. She has successfully booked and staffed hundreds of earned media placements at the local, state, and national levels across print, radio, and television, leveraging long-standing relationships with reporters and community leaders throughout Sacramento. In addition to her media work, Cassie oversees outreach initiatives at Lighthouse Public Affairs, including managing social media accounts and producing the Daily Briefing.
Prior to joining Lighthouse Public Affairs, Cassie spent two years as an Account Executive at PHPR. In that role, she staffed earned media segments, curated and managed multiple social media campaigns for various clients, and provided on-site support for client events. She was also responsible for creating graphic materials, including fact sheets, flyers, and social media assets. During this time, Cassie also served as the Content Coordinator for Fair Oaks Living, where she developed monthly, family-friendly content for the publication.
Cassie received her B.A. in Public Relations and Communication Studies with a minor in Marketing from California State University, Sacramento. While in college, she served as Vice President of her university’s Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) chapter for two years. She remains actively involved with the PRSA California Capital Chapter, frequently attending events and networking opportunities to stay connected with the local communications community. Cassie is passionate about mentoring the next generation of public relations professionals and enjoys speaking to students about her career journey. She recently joined Metro EDGE, the Sacramento Metro Chamber's young professionals group, to further her engagement with the region’s business and civic community. Cassie resides in Sacramento with her two French bulldogs.
